Raised in the North East, born in Toronto of Scottish parents who immigrated alone, most holidays were spent traveling overseas to be with family. As the youngest I had to entertain myself - all I wanted to do was draw. Whether it was in a sketchbook or all over my history notes, it was something that made me calm. My passion for the arts evolved into a massive interest in photography. I was lucky enough to have a brother who was insanely talented with a camera and I was able to learn just from watching. He however pursued data analytics in life following my mum into the technology world. Both of them with a love of art but a deep understanding of numbers. I didn’t get the numbers gene, instead I gained all the extra creative genes lying around.
